INJURED horses at an Endeavour Hills property have prompted fears that someone is harassing the animals.
The owner of the horses, Ron Kerr, in a routine visit to the paddock, found two injured animals, a foal with severe damage to a leg, and a limping mare.
Mr Kerr said polished river stones and concrete in the paddock indicated someone had thrown objects at the horses.
He was also concerned about evidence of dogs in the paddock.
The injuries suggested the horses had run into the barbed wire fence after being chased, he said.
The animals received veterinary attention.
