CASEY Little Athletics Club has had a great relay season with more than 30 teams across all age groups represented at regional level.
The result was 11 teams qualifying for the IGA State Relays run last weekend at Olympic Park.
The under-15 mixed team of Matt Kellart, Amanda Olsson, Jeremy Hallet and Keleigh Packer secured the first relay gold medal in Casey’s history, while the under-13 boys team took out a well-earned bronze medal.
All of the club’s little athletes competed strongly and achieved personal best times for their events.
