NARRE Warren Police have reported an overwhelming number of burglaries this week.

THIEVES stole carpenter’s tools valued at $1300 from a Harkaway home last week.
Police said on 28 September between 8.30am and 10.20am thieves broke into a garage at a King Road address.
Once inside they stole a number of powerful and expensive work tools, including a Makita drop saw and a Paslode nail gun.
The victim, a 63-year-old carpenter, returned home from a job in Boronia to find the garage door unlocked and his tools missing.
JEWELLERY and a digital camera were stolen from a house in Narre Warren North last week.
Police said between 4.50pm and 9.50pm on 26 September thieves broke into a house in Boundary Road, Narre Warren, and ransacked the home.
Police said the thieves stole jewellery, and a digital camera and printing dock from the house.
Also taken was a GPS navigation system and a box of aromatherapy oils.
It is believed the offenders forced entry through a door before rifling through the owner’s belongings.
THE occupant of a Hallam house lay intoxicated on her bed as thieves stole a DVD player from the home in George Chudleigh Drive last week.
Police believe that between 3.45am and 4.05am on Friday 28 September a thief has entered the house by reaching through a laundry window and unlocking a door.
Police believe the offender is known to the occupant because the three bulldogs in the laundry did not bark or make noise upon his or her entry.
After entering the house, the offender stole an AWA-brand DVD player.
Police said the occupant heard a sound and went to investigate, finding the laundry and front doors open, and the DVD player missing.
THIEVES robbed an indoor children’s playground in Hallam last week, stealing petty cash from a till tray.
Police said at 4.50am on Wednesday 26 September, a thief breached the side door of Kidz Space indoor playground in Star Crescent, Hallam.
Upon entry, the thief activated an alarm system. Police said the thief stole $80 cash from a till tray left on top of a counter before fleeing.
A BERWICK resident moving into a new house was given a dastardly surprise when he discovered $1700 worth of whitegoods and tools had been stolen during the move.
Police believe the theft happened between 5pm on 28 September and 7am on 29 September at Hollington Way, Berwick.
Police said the thieves gained entry to the new house after breaking into the garage, and then unlocking the door leading from the garage into the house.
Police believe the door was jemmied opened before thieves stole a rangehood, clothes drier, removalist’s trolley, cordless drill, jigsaw cutter, screwdriver, more tools and cooking utensils.
