TUESDAY RESULTS

Tuesday’s VLBA pennant round 12 played away at Carrum saw a titanic struggle all day with rinks equally divided, Narre Warren just getting over the line 83/81.
N. Dickie, B. Baldwin, M. Van Vugt, N. Pugh (s) lost 15-29; E. Naismith, J. Bretherton, J. Naughton, E. Gibb (s) won 26-19; D. McGann, T. Henneman, D. Farrell, S. Bell (s) won 25-12; M. Clancy, M. Horton, A. Mortimer, E. Arnott (s) lost 17-21.

WEDNESDAY RESULTS

Wednesday’s nominated triples winners were R. Pigdon, M. Deering, C. Cowley (s); runners-up were P. Uren, B. Potter, B. Brewster (s). Best last game winners were J. Smith, S. Firmin, B. Cowley (s).

FRIDAY RESULTS

Friday’s nominated triples winners were F. Pitcher, J. Barrie, P. Artnud (s); runners-up were C. Christofensen, G. Hockey, R. Beevors (s). Best last game winners were H. Bretherton, B. Cowley, C. Cowley (s).

SATURDAY RESULTS

Saturday’s social bowls winners were G. Lyon, G. Lowry, T. Henneman, D. Smith (s); runners-up K. Briggs, K. Harrison, D. McGann and L. Metaxas (s).
RVBA pennant round 13, division four, section six played Oakleigh at home and had a very satisfying win 16/105 to 2/78.
R. Naughton, C. Cowley, J. Heathcote, N. Bell (s) won 34/14, S. Birkett, D. Amezdroz, B. Brewster, R. Naismith (s) won 29/22; P. O’Day, J. Hewitt, L. McCurran, M. Olden (s) won 20/19; L. O’Brien, I. Brotherton, G. Manifold, J. Van Vugt (s) lost 22/23.
