Blood find solved

A 72YEAROLD man has solved a police investigation into the discovery of a pool of blood and a broken set of dentures in a Doveton driveway.
As reported in the News on 28 July, the Narre Warren CIU were investigating the find, which they believed could be linked to a serious assault.
The investigation ended, however, when the elderly man, who lives within Casey, revealed he fell, damaged his teeth and lost blood as a result.

COMMUNITY response to the attempted abduction of a Eumemmerring Primary School girl two weeks ago has been fantastic, according to police.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ian Wilcox from the Narre Warren CIU said his members had spoken to several people and were still fielding calls relating to the incident.
He said police were still investigating leads and were hopeful of a result.

PROVING that good results can take time, Narre Warren police arrested and charged a man and a woman last Wednesday in relation to a Berwick burglary last October.
Police charged a 20yearold man and a 25yearold female, both from Warragul, over the burglary. They have been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Friday 9 September.

POLICE charged a 19yearold Narre Warren woman last week with three counts of deception. She has been bailed to appear in the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Monday 12 September.

A DOVETON man will appear in the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Monday 1 September to face burglary charges.
The 20yearold was arrested last Friday 5 August over a burglary in Berwick in May.

POLICE have renewed calls for motorists to be wary of overnight attacks on their vehicles, even if they’re parked in front of their home.
A white 1995 Proton sedan parked outside a Sydney Parkinson Ave nue home in Endeavour Hills had its rear driver’s side window smashed and two speakers and a gear stick stolen.
The attack occurred between 3am and 3.30am on Monday 8 August.
The stolen goods are valued at $185.
A car outside an Ambleside Crescent house in Berwick was also attacked, between 6am Saturday 6 August and 8.30am Sunday 7 August.
The Ford had one of its doors forced and a guitar case containing a Yamaha bass guitar, guitar tuner and recorder was taken.
The value of the stolen goods is $860.
