Birthday fun with a twist

YOU could have been forgiven last Friday if you thought you were seeing double when the Casey and District Multiple Birth Association celebrated their 18th birthday.
In an uncanny twist 18 families turned out to the Essex Park Community Centre in Endeavour Hills to celebrate the 18year milestone with numerous sets of twins in tow.
Association president Judith Saffigna, a mother of twin daughters, said it had been great to see so many families all in the one spot, enjoying the sunshine and each other’s company.
“It was a full house and we were bursting at the seams with children everywhere,” Ms Saffigna said.
“It was absolutely brilliant and I was wrapped when someone pointed out to me that there were 18 families at our 18th birthday,” she said.
The Casey and District Multiple Birth Association is a nonprofit, voluntary organisation that provides support and assistance to multiple birth families from the antenatal stage through to their schooling years and beyond.
For more information on the Casey and District Multiple Birth Association contact Judith Saffigna on 9790 1022.
