Bike stolen from shed

AN UNREGISTERED blue Yamaha YZ 125 trail bike was stolen from a Narre Warren North rural property last week.
Police said the crime occurred at the 49 hectare property some time between 10.30pm on 7 January and 2.50pm the next day.
The owner of the bike, a 16-year-old boy, had invited about 10 friends over on the night the bike was stolen, police said.
The offender entered the shed by cutting the chain locking the door.
Detective Senior Constable Paul Stow said police were still investigating if anyone from the party had anything to do with the theft of the bike.
Anyone with any information about the crime is urged to call Det Sen Const Stow on 9705 3114.
