EVEN superheroes find time to tidy their bedrooms.
Or at least Ken Clarke does in BATS theatre company’s upcoming production of Man of Steel.
The pantomime spoof of superheroes has the central character trying to solve the world’s problems while dealing with gangsters and trying to keep his room clean.
He must also pay board to his landlord Rita, played by Rowena Gaal.
Director of the school holiday production Phil Donney said he was pleased with how the cast was performing in the roles.
“Jack Lonie is having a great time playing the character of Ken Clarke and we are really looking forward to putting on a show during the school holidays,” he said.
Vicepresident of BATS Theatre Company Susan Bergman said most of the production’s cast were under 21 and a majority of the actors came from the City of Casey.
“This show will be great for all of the family and the cast are really working well and are looking forward to a good show,” she said.
