Bashers spring from the night

A YOUNG man was bashed and robbed in an earlymorning attack outside the Casey Central shopping complex on Narre WarrenCranbourne Road last week.
Last Thursday, just after 2am, the 19yearold man was walking home north along the main road before several men attacked him.
Police claim a vehicle, believed to be a dark VN or VP model Holden Commodore, stopped near the young victim and three men got out.
Police say the men then proceeded to assault the teenager, punching him in the face and kicking him in the back. They then took his wallet before leaving him to find help. He was later treated for facial cuts.
Police say all three of the attackers were aged between 18 and 30 years. Anyone who may have witnessed any part of the attack is urged to call Narre Warren CIU on 9705 3111.

NARRE Warren police arrested a 34yearold Cranbourne man last Thursday and charged him with drugrelated offences.
The man has been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrate’s Court on 23 September to face charges of possessing, trafficking and cultivating cannabis plants as well as handling stolen goods.

JEWELLERY valued at $8500 was stolen from a Strathavan Drive home in Berwick last week. Police say the house was burgled last week between 8am on Wednesday and 5.50pm on Friday after a rear bedroom window was smashed. Information should be directed to Detective Senior Constable Brian Whitehead on 9705 3111.
