BERWICK Secondary College students enjoyed “ragged chords” and “razorsharp lyrics” on Tuesday when Australian rock band Magic Dirt visited the school.
More than 600 students bought a ticket to the event and all funds raised are to go to Challenge, a cancer support network for people aged 18 and under.
Organised by 10 of the school’s year12 Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) students, teacher Alison Camm said everyone was excited about the event.
“Tickets are $5 and all of the money raised will go to Challenge.
“They are a pretty well known band so everyone is looking forward to it.
“A lot of organisation and hard work has gone into this and we are hoping it goes really well,” she said.
