MEMBERS of Team Jess are tickled pink with the support they are getting from the Casey community in preparation for this Saturday’s A Hint of Pink gala auction night.
The event, being held at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, has gained massive public support and is on track to raise almost $50,000 for cancer research.
More than 60 Casey residents have teamed together to organise A Hint of Pink, a gala charity auction to honour their friend Jess Atwell, who lost her battle with cancer last year at the age of 27. The event, named in honour of Jess’s love of the colour pink, is set to host more than 400 people.
Wellwishers can still help the cause by donating items for the charity auction or attending the night.
A Hint of Pink will take place on 24 February from 7pm until midnight.
Tickets are $65 and can be purchased by calling 1300 887 624. All proceeds go towards cancer research.
Prize donations can still be made by phoning Simon on 0431 274 673.
