DIVERSITY is all the rage at Eumemmerring College.
Students and staff at the Gleneagles campus have celebrated Youth Week with a photographic exhibition displaying a wide range of emotions and thoughts.
Year 10 students were given the opportunity to express their ideas and experiences of cultural and social diversity through their creative pieces.
The process involved students developing their skills in the use of industry standard graphic design, photographic software and specialised cameras and equipment.
Gleneagles arts coordinator Kelly Clarke was thrilled with the success of the exhibition.
“As a teacher it is brilliant when students have the opportunity to design and create digital art works for community projects, while at the same time enhancing their knowledge and skills in this area of the arts,” Ms Clarke said.
Officials from South East Local Planning and Employment Network, City of Casey youth services and the School Focussed Youth Service group all attended the exhibition’s opening day.
