CRANBOURNE Harness Racing Club will undertake a major fundraiser in conjunction with its popular Kids Night Out meeting on 5 January.
The fundraiser will benefit Camp Quality, a non-profit organisation dedicated to bringing hope and happiness to kids living with cancer.
It will take the form of a raffle, with first prize being a $500 travel voucher donated by Qantas and Harvey World Travel in Cranbourne.
The club will collect gold-coins on the night and everyone who makes a donation will receive a ticket in the raffle.
The winner will be drawn on course at 9.30pm, immediately following Race 6 on the Kids Night Out program.
Cranbourne Harness Racing Club chief executive Jacquie Richardson described Camp Quality as a fantastic charity and the club was thrilled to be able to host Camp Quality families and the fundraiser on their behalf.
“The organisation is a good fit with Kids Night Out and I’m confident we can achieve a significant donation,” she said.
A quality night out
