AN EXPENSIVE BMX bike was stolen last week when thieves broke into the garage of a Narre Warren South home.
The Hoffman model bike is chrome in colour and worth $1100.
Police said it was stolen when the garage door of the Ferny Court home was tampered with between 4.30pm Friday, 15 September and 1pm the next day.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ian Wilcox said people might have seen someone riding the distinctive-styled bike since it was stolen.
