Spring into action

SPRING is here, so it’s the time to try out some new hobbies.
The Berwick Neighbourhood Centre is offering a range of wonderful activities and groups for older adults.
Improve your balance and physical fitness through strength training. Relax your body and mind with Tai Chi and yoga or maintain your fitness in a fun and interactive Zumba class. The centre is also running plenty of activities to keep your mind active this spring.
Try a Computer for the Terrified workshop, which runs throughout the year and is tailored to the older adult. Classes are small and run at a gentle pace that will have you using a computer like an expert in no time.
The Timbarra Knitters group is also looking for new members this season. Members meet often and use their skills to make wonderful knitted items that will then be donated to local aid agencies.
The Berwick Neighbourhood Centre provides the community with affordable programs to keep everyone physically and mentally active.
Drop by the centre at 112 High Street, Berwick or call 9796 1970 for more information.
