PAKENHAM Hills Primary School students are doing their bit to ease congestion around Pakenham schools which are taking part in the Cardinia Shire Council’s Stop and Drop program.
Students from the school are dropped off at one of eight Stop and Drop locations around Pakenham about one kilometre from the four target schools – Pakenham Hills, Pakenham Springs, Pakenham Consolidated and St Patrick’s Primary.
Parents can drop off and pick up their children from these designated zones and the children can then walk, ride, scoot or skate to and from school.
Parents are encouraged to accompany their children if they wish.
