Mayor calls for

WITH Christmas, New Year and holidays approaching, Cardinia Shire Council is urging residents to make provision for property maintenance throughout the fire season to minimise combustible materials.
Mayor Graeme Legge said it is critically important for residents to maintain property management and clean up regimes all through summer.
“We face another summer of dangerous fire possibilities and vigilance, preparation and being ready to act are keys to surviving the bushfire threat,” said Cr Legge.
