Appetite for build bank

PAKENHAM residents are invited to have a sausage in bread this weekend, all for a good cause.
The Lakeside Pakenham Community Bank will hold a sausage sizzle outside Pakenham Bunnings on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to raise money for the 4Cs Building Fund.
Spokesman for the group Jack Mitchell said all proceeds of the weekend would go to the building fund for the charity.
He said many local traders were also getting involved, with Coles, Bunnings and Bakers Delight all making donations on the weekend.
“Members of 4Cs will also be there to tell people about the work they do around the community,” Mr Mitchell said.
“On Wednesday the cool room was being installed, so things are slowly starting to happen.”
