Tin din for breakfast

BRING your cans, that’s the call from Delfin staff ahead of this weekend’s free breakfast at Lakeside.
Before they step out the door residents are asked to remember to bring a can of food for Pakenham’s 4000 Cans for 4Cs campaign.
Delfin community development manager Kate Saunders said all members of the Lakeside community were invited to attend the free breakfast and free activities to be held from 8.30am Saturday.
“We are also hoping that residents will bring a can of food to support this local campaign,” Ms Saunders said.
“It’s a worthwhile community charity and makes a big difference to people who live in the project and the greater shire.”
She said young breakfast-goers could even expect a visit from the man in red Santa, riding the local CFA fire truck, and winners of the Delfin Christmas Lights competition would be announced.
