Game for a cause

PUNTERS are invited to take a swing this Melbourne Cup Day, all in the name of charity.
The Officer Tennis Club, in partnership with local store Cactus Black, will hold a tennis tournament on Cup Day to raise money for prostate cancer research as part of the Movember campaign.
Tennis coach Chris Millidonis said while he and others were already getting their top lips ready to grow facial hair for the cause, they wanted to do something extra.
“As part of the tennis tournament we will be holding a Calcutta auction and a fundrais-ing Melbourne Cup Sweep,” he said.
“It’s a bit of fun and a way to raise some money for a good cause.”
