CASEY residents can protect their cars from numberplate theft by attending Safe Plates Day to be held on Saturday 10 October at Bunnings in Cranbourne.
The City of Casey, along with Victoria Police, the CFA and SES, will offer Bunnings’ shoppers the opportunity to have their numberplates secured to their cars with anti tamper screws that are difficult to remove.
The free service will be offered in the Bunnings car park on the corner of Thompson Road and South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne, between 10am to 2pm.
