Holiday program

YOUNG people in Cardinia will be able to ride the thrills and spills at Melbourne’s Luna Park these school holidays.
Ice skating, an excursion to Science Works and a snow trip to Mount Baw Baw are also among the fun activities on offer during the Cardinia Shire’s teenage holiday program.
Council officers are urging young people aged between 11 and 16 years who live, study or work in Cardinia Shire to book early.
Costs for the September program range from $6 to $40.
Staff from the Cardinia youth services team, with the support of Windermere Child and Family Services, supervise the activities.
Places are limited and bookings essential. Bookings will be taken until Tuesday, 15 September.
Consent and booking forms are available by calling 1300 787 624, emailing youth@cardnia. vic.gov.au, or from the Cardinia Council website www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/youth.
