Shire chief talks change

CARDINIA Shire chief executive Garry McQuillan is preparing to make his annual address to the business community.
Mr McQuillan will speak on the council’s business initiatives and development plans during the event at the Cardinia Cultural Centre on 10 September.
The event is also an opportunity for local business people to meet, network and learn more about what is on offer within the shire’s business community.
“Business and development in the Shire of Cardinia are moving at a rapid pace to keep up with our growing residential population and government expectations under Melbourne 2030,” Mr McQuillan said.
“A lot of the changes can and will have a direct effect on local businesses and I look forward to discussing them with our business community.”
Mr McQuillan’s address to the business community is a free event but prior registration is essential. For details and to make a booking call 5945 0400.
Details are also available at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au.
