Cardinia

TIME is running out for Cardinia’s youth to have their say on life in the municipality.
Cardinia Shire Council officers are hoping to have 2000 young people respond to a survey as part of its 2009 Youth Forum.
Youth development officer Kerrie Loveless said the council valued the ideas and opinions of young people when it came to life in the shire.
“Young people are the experts on their lives and they often come up with good solutions to issues concerning them,” she said.
“The Youth Forum is a great opportunity for young people to provide feedback on issues of concern as well as inform the council of their future aspirations.”
All participants automatically go into the draw for an iPod shuffle and one in five will win an iTunes voucher.
On-line surveys can be submitted through the council’s website until 5pm tomorrow (4 September) or submitted to the shire offices in Henty Way, Pakenham.
To obtain a copy of the survey call 1300 787 624 or visit the council’s offices in Henty Way, Pakenham. The survey is also online at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au.
