College rocks the arena

PAKENHAM Secondary College students last night (Wednesday) rocked Melbourne’s Hisense Arena.
Eighty students from Years 7 to 12 entertained audiences at the heats of this year’s Rock Eisteddfod with a performance about the legend of Taiga, an ancient forest in Russia with mythical creatures called Leshiyes.
The college performed in the Premier Division of Rock Eisteddfod where its students competed against nearly 400 Australian schools in 17 regions across Australia.
Students will discover on Monday if they have made it to the finals, which will take place on 18 September.
