Showtime as kids take the stage

PERFORMING art students at Beaconhills College recently hit the stage for their first major event of the year.
More than 100 dancers, actors, singers and musicians performed in a multitude of groups and ensembles, entertaining parents, friends and staff from the school’s Pakenham campus.
Highlights of the Performing Arts Concert 2009 included the VCE dance troupe’s Indian-inspired dance, middle school drama students’ comedy routine and a performance from the Beaconhills Strings Orchestra.
A rendition of ‘I am Australian’ ended the night. All proceeds of the evening will be donated to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
