Bunny bonus

PAKENHAM shoppers were given an Easter treat on Saturday.
Pakenham Business Group members joined the Easter bunny, bearing a striking resemblance to member Peter Scollo, giving out free Easter eggs in Lakeside and the Main Street precinct.
Children – and a few adults – also had their faces painted by Hayley from Fancy Faces.
Pakenham Business Group secretary Michelle Tones said the promotion was a great success, adding to the people’s shopping experience in town over the Easter weekend.
“The group aims to make Pakenham a better place to live and shop and this promotion was a small way of helping to achieve that.”
Cardinia CEO Garry McQuillan will address the group’s next general meeting on Monday 27 April.
