Dress up windows and win

A PAKENHAM Business Group promotion will have traders filling their shop-fronts with Christmas decorations.
The group is running a competition to encourage traders in the 3810 postcode to adorn their shop windows with festive colours for the season.
Australian Idol finalist Sophie Paterson will judge the entrants and the winner will be announced on 17 December.
There is a $500 cash first prize, which rises to $600 if the winner is a PBG member.
PBG vice-president Michael Porter said there was only a small catch.
“The only condition is that we’re asking traders to put a special Christmas hat in their display, which will be available from Pakenham Tyre Plus and Messy Pawz,” he said.
Mr Porter said entry forms would be emailed to all businesses and could also be picked up from Pakenham Tyre Plus.
He said Pakenham’s Mitre 10 Mega would offer 10 per cent off Christmas decorations to competitors provided they took their entry forms with them to the store.
