CARDINIA Shire mayor Bill Ronald is encouraging residents to buckle-up for the Cardinia Road Safety Expo and Family Fun Day.
The popular annual event will be held at the PB Ronald Reserve in Pakenham from 10am to 2pm next Saturday.
The event is run by Cardinia Shire Council, in partnership with Roadsafe, Victoria Police, SES, CFA and Pakenham churches.
Cr Ronald said the free expo was a great chance for residents of all ages to get a close-up look at a range of emergency service vehicles and equipment.
“There will be displays by our emergency services, including police, SES and CFA ,as well as performances by the Victoria Police band, free face painting, a jumping castle, sausage sizzle and safety demonstrations,” he said.
“This event increases in popularity each year and we expect this year’s expo to be bigger than ever.”
