PAKENHAM emergency services personnel will soon lose their locks for a good cause.
The charitable crew includes members from the Pakenham Police, CFA, SES, and the daughter of a police officer.
They will have their heads shaved at Cardinia Shire’s Road Safety Expo and Family Fun Day on 25 October at the PB Ronald Reserve in Pakenham, which will coincide with Bluey Day.
All money raised from the head shave goes to cancer research.
Since 1995, the combined efforts of Australia’s emergency services have raised more than $20 milliion for disadvantaged and sick children.
Donations can be made to Lisa Hicks at Pakenham CFA on 0409 401 437.
