CARDINIA LiFE is urging the shire’s older citizens to get on their feet to celebrate this month’s Victorian Seniors Festival.
The YMCA will host a number of walks around the state from this Sunday as part of the celebrations.
The Go for Your Life YMCA walk begins on Sunday at the Telstra Dome and then moves to regional locations throughout the remainder of the senior festival.
The Pakenham leg of the walk will begin at Cardinia LiFE next Wednesday.
Registration begins at 8am with the walk kicking off at 10am.
Participants will receive a free pedometer and morning tea and have the opportunity to take up a free 10-day trial of the YMCA Pryme Movers exercise classes at Cardinia LiFE.
To book a place on the Pakenham walk contact the YMCA on 9480 1177 or visit www.victoria.ymca.org.au.
