Hop along to help

Pakenham Joey Scouts, Jacob Charabie, Cheyenne Mason and Jorrod Magnus are looking for a new leader.Pakenham Joey Scouts, Jacob Charabie, Cheyenne Mason and Jorrod Magnus are looking for a new leader.

PAKENHAM Joey Scouts are in need of some new leaders.
The younger scouts, between the ages of six and eight, need someone to help them have fun.
There are at present 15 children who are waiting to attend the Scouts’ weekly meeting on Tuesday afternoon but the group does not have enough leaders to accommodate them.
Scout leader Leanne Fraser said prospective leaders must be willing to commit to fully paid training, which includes some weekends, and fill out working with children and police check applications.
They have to be willing to get involved and have lots of fun completing craft, games, learning about the environment, sharing and helping others.
“Our Joeys are waiting for your help,” Ms Fraser said.
People aged over 18 years old are needed.
The opportunity may suit people studying childcare or teaching who wish to gain some practical experience working with children.
For further information, contact Leanne Fraser via email at lfraser@alphalink.com.au, or after hours phone 9707 2417.
