NOT all punters backed a winner at the Pakenham Cup on Sunday, but everyone was smiling.
The big day was voted a terrific success with huge crowds, plenty of food, drink and entertainment and heaps of great racing.
Berwick jockey Noel Callow celebrated his 31st birthday in style by guiding Wild Classic home in the Pakenham Cup.
The Fashions on the Field competition was also a major feature with more than 80 entrants and more than $10,000 in prizes.
The official attendance was over 4200.
Club racing manager Michael Hodge said the meeting was a wonderful success with crowd behaviour exemplary.
