PAKENHAM adult learning centre Living and Learning in Cardinia (LLINC) has already begun gearing up for another busy and productive year for the community.
Highlighting the theme ‘new skills for the future’, LLINC recently distributed 22,000 brochures to all parts of Cardinia Shire.
The brochures heralded the availability of more than 50 courses and activities catering for all ages, from childcare for three-year-olds to those for seniors.
All programs are held under the care of qualified tutors and trainers in a friendly accepting environment.
Already courses are filling quickly for computer training, skills for business and employment, food hygiene, first-aid, reading, writing and maths, budgeting, grief and gamblers’ support groups, children’s dance, art and photography.
For residents looking for help to develop in personal and professional growth, a series of four workshops are planned for the year with the first scheduled for 7 May.
Bookings are essential.
The LLINC office is open each weekday from 9am to 4pm, except some school holidays and public holidays.
