Kids have a roaring time at the circus

THE circus of a different kind came to Andrews Community Kindergarten yesterday (Wednesday).
Instead of watching on, preschoolers were the ringmasters as they staged their own show.
“Many of the children had been to the circus in Pakenham or heard about it,” teacher Anne Wynne said.
“So the teachers discussed with the children how we could have our own circus at kinder.”
The youngsters put on their well-practised routines, which included balancing acts, juggling and jumping through hoops, and munched on pizza and popcorn during the day.
They also donned costumes, custom made masks and some preschoolers were face-painted for the special event.
