PAKENHAM Springs Primary School students and their families pounded the pavement last Friday.
A school walkathon saw many parents join their children to raise funds for the new school.
The walkathon was run in conjunction with the Go For Your Life promotion which is part of the Premiers Active Families Challenge.
The highest fundraiser can now pedal to school thanks to Cranbourne Cycles which donated a $150 voucher for the event.
Each year level’s highest fundraiser also received a prize to encourage them to continue to be physically active.
