Charges after burglary spree

A PAKENHAM man was arrested and charged on Thursday, 23 February over a spate of burglaries in the Casey area.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ian Wilcox of Narre Warren CIU said the crimes occurred between 2004 and last month.
He said the 20-year-old had been charged with burglary, theft of a motor car, two counts of theft from a car, three charges of theft and one count of deception.
Det Sen Sgt Wilcox said the arrest followed a lengthy investigation and police were still keen to recover a historical daily newspaper valued at $20,000.
