THE HAWKS flew into Pakenham for a special training run last Friday.
Fans flocked to Toomuc Reserve to see the brown and gold heroes in action, including captain Sam Mitchell, Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin and Trent Croad.
The team went through their paces early with a two-hour skills and fitness session , followed by a junior clinic and autograph-signing session.
It is the second time the Hawthorn Football Club has visited the reserve in as many years and Mitchell said the team was again impressed with the surface and planned to return for another session in the future.
For Hawks fans, special run is as good as gold
