Man hurt as car hits tree

AN 18-year-old man was taken to hospital with minor head injuries after the car he was travelling in hit a tree on Toomuc Valley Road, Pakenham Upper, on Friday night.
Police believe he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
The 20-year-old driver, a Cockatoo man, escaped uninjured.
Police say they are concerned by the recent increase in single vehicle accidents and urge residents to take extra care when driving.
