Master gold medal winners strike again

PAKENHAM’S athletics masters have won again.
Bill Ronald and Terry Baldwin are a dynamic duo in Masters Games and came back from the recent national championships in Canberra with a fresh swag of medals.
Terry returned with four gold medals and a silver while Bill followed up his state title with gold in the high jump at the national championships.
Terry won gold in the 110-metre and 400-metre hurdles, pole vault and javelin. He picked up a silver medal in the relay.
The duo are among several local athletes who regularly take part in Masters Games competition.
Bill, who is Cardinia Shire’s mayor when not winning gold in athletics events, said he was looking forward to defending his title when the championships go to Tasmania next year.
