WFWP Australia: Empowering Women, Strengthening Families, Building Peace

At Women’s Federation for World Peace Australia, we believe that real and lasting peace begins in the heart of the family and radiates outward. As the national chapter of WFWP International, our mission is to empower and uplift women as peacemakers and leaders — recognising the essential role women play in healing divisions and building unity.

Our programs span a broad spectrum of initiatives: from humanitarian aid and community development to leadership training, peacebuilding, environmental care, and multicultural community work. We collaborate across cultures, faiths and abilities to promote social cohesion, support vulnerable communities, and uphold human dignity.

WFWP Australia offers many ways for people to join our mission — whether you have a few hours to volunteer or want to commit more deeply:

Volunteer with local events that build social cohesion and community connection.

Take part in humanitarian aid and development projects in the Pacific Island nations, helping empower women and families with education, skills, and sustainable livelihoods.

Join our leadership and mentoring programs such as the “Leading into the Future” Mentor Program — designed to build confidence, nurture heart-centred leadership, and open pathways for women from diverse backgrounds.

Become a Member or support our work through a donation — as a registered Australian charity with DGR status, all donations support our service delivery and projects.

By getting involved with WFWP Australia, you not only help uplift women and families, but also strengthen your own sense of belonging, compassion, and purpose. It’s a chance to meet like-minded people, gain leadership skills, and contribute to meaningful change in our communities — locally, nationally, and globally.

Whether through volunteering, membership, mentoring, or giving — every action makes a difference. We invite you to join us as we build a culture of heart, hope, and peace for all.
