GET into the swing of things this Friday as the Cardinia Council’s FReeZA committee Electric Productions hosts its first FReeZA gig for the year.
Pakenham Outdoor Pool is this year’s venue for the pool party, which is becoming a popular annual event on the youth calendar.
The council’s youth services officer Carrolyn Agius said DJ Emlyn would be spinning great tunes along side a sausage sizzle and the youth service’s MYBus.
“The twilight event is for young people aged 13 and over and provides a good chance for young people to get out and socialise,” she said.
“The party will be in a fully supervised drug, alcohol and smoke-free environment.”
The event will be held from 4pm until 9pm and entry is $6 per person.
There will be no pass outs.
The event is part of Cardinia Council’s commitment to increasing the number of events and activities for young people in the shire.
