PREP students at Pakenham Springs Primary School took a tour of Pakenham’s prominent places including the Main Street, Cardinia Cultural Centre and police station as part of a community inquiry program.
The students have been learning about the ins and outs where they live, investigating their home, school and wider community.
To celebrate the Preps’ learning journey, staff held a community expo where students invited their parents to come and view a completed box community and other learning tasks that had been completed during the term.
Students came dressed as what they want to be when they grow up with a range of professions represented including doctors, vets, police officers and hairdressers.
