The early part of the week saw local law enforcement involved in a collision with a yet unknown offender who is now in custody
Police have reported what is being labelled as an ‘incident’ that unfolded on Monday 9 March at Emerald Lake.
“Police responded and were involved in a collision with the offender, who is now in police custody,” read the post.
Social media notice boards also claimed alleged reports of a man wielding a machete down at the lake, driving on the wrong side of the road, and driving into a water tank near the Emerald Library before he was arrested.
Police are asking that if you were involved in the incident, please contact Emerald Police Station on (03) 5954 0200, which is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9:15am – 4:45pm.
