THE Need for Feed Country Music Festival returns to the Pakenham Racecourse this weekend.
Cars, guitars and stars will be on show to raise funds for Victoria’s bushfire victims.
The country music festival will feature the Aaron Daniels Band, Yesteryear, Blue Moon Lodge and Billy Wyatt.
Other attractions include vintage and veteran, classic and custom, restoration, rods, rice burners, Harleys, hybrids, human powered vehicles, trucks, utes, tractors and feral utes.
Lions clubs from V3 and V5 Districts are throwing their support behind the bushfire benefit which runs from 12noon to midnight on Saturday and 9am to 6pm on Sunday. Bands hit the stage on Saturday from 2pm and from 10am on Sunday.
A Thunder and Lightning Ute Show Spectacular will kick off at 8pm Saturday.
All proceeds from the event go to the Victorian Lions District Disaster Relief Programs.
These are distributed in the form of vouchers to the value of $750 per households burnt out, and other vouchers to help farmers replace fences and pasture.
The vouchers are only redeemable at local businesses in each locality.
Entry is $20 to each day. Display entry drivers and CFA volunteers are admitted free.
