Furry Friends Day

One at a Time Pet Rescue (formerly Best Friends) held a successful event on July 19 in Pakenham, giving locals the chance to meet animals in need of loving homes.

A range of pets were showcased, with volunteers on hand to guide visitors through the adoption process and share information about each animal. While not all were adopted on the day, the event helped highlight the importance of pet rescue and responsible ownership.

More adoption days will be held throughout August, giving families additional opportunities to connect with pets looking for a fresh start. Details are available on One at a Time Pet Rescue’s website and social media.
