Christmas in the Park

Pakenham Hills Residents Group hosted its highly anticipated Christmas in the Park at the reserve on Windermere Boulevard and Bonneville Parade on December 8.

The event brought families and neighbors together to celebrate the festive season with activities and entertainment for all ages.

The event provided a sausage sizzle, face painting, pony rides, a bouncy castle, a magician, and live performances by singers from Creative Souls Studios.

Adding to the fun, Mayor Jack Kowarzik joined in the festivities in “disguise” as Santa and Councillor Liz Roberts made a special appearance.

President of Pakenham Hills Resident Group, Dave Roberts said residents left with smiles, grateful for the chance to connect with neighbors and create lasting memories.

“The highlight was seeing so many families coming along and enjoying the activities and having social cohesion in our local community. Those attending had an enjoyable time!”

The event was successful thanks to the support from Cardinia Council and Marcus Washington area specialist.

The Community Christmas event was a heartwarming reminder of the value of coming together to celebrate the festive season.
