Pakenham servo robbed at knife-point

Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an armed robbery at a service station in Pakenham on Wednesday 27 November.

Police believe an unknown male entered the Racecourse Road business just after 3.30am armed with a knife.

According to police, he made demands for the staff member to open the cash register who complied. The offender stole an amount of cash and around 20 packets of cigarettes before fleeing on foot north up Racecourse Road.

The male staff member was not physically injured and called police immediately.

The offender is described as approximately 182cm with light brown skin, he was wearing dark-coloured clothing, gloves, face mask, a hooded top pulled over his head and a distinctive logo on his tracksuit pants.

Investigators have released CCTV and images of a man who may be able to assist police with their enquiries.
