21-year-old man allegedly armed with a knife arrested following collision

Victoria Police have arrested a 21-year-old Reservoir man allegedly armed with a knife in dramatic scenes which unfolded on the corner of Racecourse Road and Princes Highway following a collision on Thursday 24 October.

Victoria Police responded to a collision in Pakenham on Thursday 24 October.

Police have said an allegedly stolen Audi and a van collided on the Princes Highway at about 9.15am.

Police alleged the Audi driver was allegedly armed with a knife.

The 21-year-old Reservoir man was arrested at the scene.

A female occupant of the van was injured during the collision and was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Police alleged the Audi was stolen from a property in Burnley this morning.
