Storm relief centres now open

Storm-affected residents in the Hills are encouraged to visit new drop-in centres to access power and Wi-Fi, as well as tea and coffee.

The Cockatoo Community Complex at 4 Gembrook Road and Gembrook Community Centre at 77 Pakenham Road will be open from 10am to 6pm until Friday 6 September.

Community members can also report a road, tree or drainage issue on council-managed land which poses an immediate risk to public safety by calling council’s Customer Support team on 1300 787 624 or reporting the issue online at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/report

Cardinia Council is experiencing a high volume of requests for assistance and is prioritising works based on community safety and need, with the most urgent works undertaken first.

In the interest of public safety, Emerald Lake Park is closed until further notice.
